Smart Toilets

Discover EPLO smart toilets with heated seats, auto flush, warm-air drying and a Powerful MaP flush — built for a cleaner, more comfortable bathroom.

What Counts as an EPLO Smart Toilet

Every EPLO smart toilet combines a bidet wash, a heated seat and a powered flush in one fixture. Nothing is bolted onto an existing toilet — the wash nozzle, the heater, the pump and the controls are built into the body. That is what separates these from a toilet plus a separate bidet seat, and this one‑piece design features a sleek appearance and simple cleaning.

Across the range you get these features as standard: adjustable warm-water washing with self-cleaning nozzle, heated seat, night light, pre-wetting, auto flush and power failure flush. higher-tier models add a 1000g MaP flush, warm moving drying, foam shield, UVC water treatment and plasma technology.

How to Choose a Smart Toilet for Your Bathroom

1. Measure the rough-in first

The rough-in is the distance from the finished back wall to the centre of the floor drain. Most EPLO models are built for a 12-inch rough-in, which is the US standard. Measure before you shortlist anything, as a mismatched rough-in prevents proper installation.

2. Check the seat height against who will use it

Standard toilets sit around 15 inches. EPLO's ADA models sit within the 17–19 inch ADA range. Taller users and anyone with knee or hip trouble notice this difference more than any other specification.

3. Confirm you have an outlet

Every smart toilet needs power. A grounded 120V outlet within reach of the unit is required. If there is no outlet behind the toilet today, budget for an electrician before you budget for the toilet. Every EPLO smart toilet comes with power-outage flush, ensuring reliable flushing function even during power outages.

4. Decide how much automation you actually want

Our automation suite includes auto open lid, foot-sensor lid/seat open/close, Four Season Sensing, warm moving drying, urinal flushing and auto foam shield for true hands-free use.

  • For seniors, off-seat flush and foot sensor flush remove the need to bend and press buttons.
  • Four Season Sensing adjusts seat, water and dryer temperatures automatically based on ambient conditions for year-round comfort.
  • Auto foam shield activates on seating to block odors, prevent splashing and reduce waste adhesion for easier cleaning.

One-Piece and Wall-Hung: Which Fits

  • One-piece (floor-mounted) smart toilets have the tank and bowl moulded as a single unit. They boast smooth streamlined styling to elevate bathroom aesthetics. There are no seams between tank and bowl and no crevices from retrofit bidet seats, making them easier to clean with fewer grime traps. All waterway, electrical and flushing systems are pre-tuned at the factory for stable operation of washing, drying, deodorizing and foot-sensor features. They are the default choice for a standard US bathroom.
  • Wall-hung smart toilets mount on an in-wall carrier frame and float above the floor. The bowl can be placed at whatever height you want, the floor underneath is clear for mopping, and the room reads larger. The trade-off is that installation requires opening the wall and fitting a carrier frame — this is a renovation decision, not a swap.

What the Specifications Mean

  • 1000g MaP — the maximum score on the MaP (Maximum Performance) flush test. It means the toilet clears 1,000 grams of solid waste in a single flush.
  • ADA height — seat height between 17 and 19 inches, the range set by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • UVC water treatment — the wash water passes a UVC lamp as it flows, before it reaches the nozzle.
  • Foam shield — a layer of foam laid over the water surface before use, to stop splash-back and hold odour under the surface.
  • GPF — gallons per flush. Dual-flush models run a lower volume on the half flush.
  • Moving dryer — the warm-air nozzle travels instead of blowing from a fixed point. This design expands drying coverage by 50% for faster, more efficient drying.

FAQS

What is the difference between a smart toilet and a bidet toilet?

Nothing structural. A bidet toilet is the common name for a toilet with a built-in bidet wash; a smart toilet adds powered functions on top of the wash — heated seat, warm-air drying, auto lid, sensor flush. Every EPLO model is both.

Do EPLO smart toilets need a plumber to install?

A like-for-like replacement on an existing 12-inch rough-in is a straightforward job, and many customers do it themselves. You will need a working outlet behind the unit. New installation, re-routing water and electrical lines, or a wall-hung model with an in-wall carrier frame should go to a licensed plumber.

Who should get a smart toilet?

Most households find a smart toilet makes daily life more comfortable, especially these groups:
• Women — The dedicated front wash provides a gentler clean during those times of the month and after childbirth.
• Seniors and those with limited mobility — Foot-sensor flushing means no bending, and warm water eliminates difficult wiping.
• Anyone with sensitive skin — Warm water is far less irritating than dry paper.
• Families with kids — Hands-free lid and seat operation reduce mess and contact with shared surfaces.
• Men — Models with urinal flushing detect standing use and trigger a half-flush automatically when you step away. No touching, no forgetting.

What kind of toilet should I buy?

Start with the features that matter most to your household. Every EPLO smart toilet includes rear wash, front wash, oscillating wash, heated seat, warm air dryer, and night light as standard. All models also have auto off-seat flush, power failure flush.
From there, choose based on your priorities:
• WaterSense certified models — save on water bills without sacrificing performance
• Auto open/close — zero-touch use from entry to exit
• UVC water purification — extra cleanliness for the water supply
• Urinal flushing — ideal for households with men
• Auto deodorization + plasma air purification — keeps the bathroom air fresh
